A 2016 study by Panorama Consulting, LLC states the top reason for implementing ERP Software Technology was to replace old or legacy ERP systems as was the case in the 2015 study at 16% (16-percent).

1. Replace Legacy System remains the number one reason for implementing ERP Software with 16%.
2. Improve Business Performance and Position Company for Growth tied for second place at 13% while
3. Reporting/Regulatory Compliance, Making employees’ jobs easier and Standardize global operations tied at 3rd place with 10%
