When you post invoices and payments, SMARTer Manager automatically sends a transaction history to the Journal, where it’s instantly accessible. Then you can add notes, change the distribution, change the date—anything you need to change—before you post it to the G/L. And if an account code gets changed, it’ll automatically update in the Journal before you post it.

When vendors get paid, SMARTer Manager verifies each payment while matching it against Purchase Orders, and updating Job Costs, where necessary. Then, Purchase Orders are automatically updated in A/P. Everything works together seamlessly.

An Accounts Receivable Module That Works for You

The A/R Module is fully integrated with the G/L. That saves a lot of duplicate data entry, because so much is automated. Invoices are posted directly from the A/R to the Journal, while taking into account discounts, payment due dates, and payment selection. 

But this A/R is flexible. You can preview a customer invoice, print it on laser or continuous preprinted forms, or email or fax it directly to your customer. And with the SMARTer Manager AR, you have unlimited partial payments… unlimited miscellaneous charges… unlimited line items per invoice number… unlimited invoice item detail and messages… and multiple Ship To addresses. And as your product is shipped out, the invoice, packing slip and certification documents can be printed simultaneously or separately.

Just like the G/L module, you can customize the A/R for your company.

• Record your sales tax—with codes you define
• When you record sales tax for your customers, you can define codes for each company or each ship-to address

The A/P Module that Lets You Manage Your Cash Flow

SMARTer Manager gives you that perfect balance between automation and flexibility. It takes care of simple tasks, like adjusting your inventory and job cost from the prices of Purchase Orders. Payments are automatically reconciled, and cancellations are automatically processed. 

But when it comes to cash outflow, you make the decisions. You manage your cash-flow by personally selecting invoices for payment—the whole payment, or a split or partial payment. And with the vouchering and invoice data validation, you have control over cash disbursements.
